I got given a 6speed gear box out of a mk2 Punto at first was not that keen on going to 6speed with the gear ratios being slightly shorter but having that bit more on the top thought why not.so last weekend we got it put in we got it in without much trouble now for the good news Lol with a kinked fuel line i managed to melt a piston ring and cracked one too new ones coming next week

It was kinked so it ran lean on top end so most likely detonated? Also i got a new clutch in so hopefully by end of next week should have it put back together and running

Well since the last post its been some stress lol melted and cracked couple of pistons, so new pistons and rings again, then the woodruff key on the bottom gear on end of the crank shaft sheared off twice resulting in many bent valves just changed the bottom gear box mounting ordered some HnR springs which will arrive some time next week and gonna get both strutt braces

Oh also gonna poly bush up the rear. Been wanting some light wheels,OZ do couple but not in a high off set which not happy about cos they said its not advisable to use spacers cos of the wobbly bolts id have to use and the others i got to wait 2month! But only 6.2kg or 6.4kg each 15inch wheel but i will have a one off colour on them which im not telling lol oh also changing bit of exhaust

On Sat Nav?
You do realise that Sat Nav is never accurate. All GPS satellites are owned and run by the US military with companies buying data from them, consequently they are for civilian use not more than accurate to 50m, its 1-2m military use although sat nav companies use all sorts of algorithmic solutions to try and make it more accurate. The reason is two fold, if it was too accurate then terrorists could use rigged up sat nav as targeting bombs, and the data is always historic as its works out your speed by the good old speed=time/distance, which when the data can be between 50-100m out always is going to be inaccurate. Although speedo's are also not accurate, they must not under read from new, they are an actual figure, not a historic one, so you really have to use both and then you get a rough idea of what you are doing.

hence you always get sent into the nearest field, I personally can not stand them, all you need is a map!
ok rant for the day!

Nothing special but standard fiat internals no balancing or lightening and 11psi boost (0.7-ish bar)
