Well, i don't know if this car is much of a project, but since i've bought her, over  time it's become more and more of a fun car. I just want to buy things to make it look more attractive and gain in performance.. so i guess you could say this is my project car afterall!

However here's a brief little introduction.

For Xmas last year my Dad bought me my silver seicento sporting abarth.. It was an ok little runner, it had low mileage, the abarth body kit and just seemed to run fine.. However i wasn't entirely happy with it.. i think it was me just been fussy!

So i started looking for a new car.. i looked at Corsa C 1.2 SXI's, VW polo's.. but then i came across a black Seicento sporting Abarth. I told myself i wasn't going to get another one, but this one just made up my final decision! I was going to buy it and that meant i would do anything to get it! It also meant i had to sell my silver seicento within a week!

I phoned my Dad and told him i've found a car and wanted it! Me and Rob also took the trip to Cardiff that night to visit the car! Apart from a few little dings and scratches i fell in love with it! I was also suprised to find that the car was colour coded, had clear front and side indicators, had a janspeed 3" backbox exhaust and a K&N airfilter!

The next day i bought the car on buy it now on ebay for only £1000. Bargain! I now had one week to sell the silver one! In the end i sold it for £800 which just meant i had to put £200 towards my new one!

The day came to pick it up! I had to drive it back to Swindon, from Cardiff. first time driving on the motorway aswel but i was fine.. Rob was in his Lupo with Jason and Hayley came with me! It just felt like i was driving the old one, althought louder Tongue

Well enough of the story of how i bought her.. lets post up some pics of what she was like when i first got her!

CAR: '98 Seicento Sporting Abarth (Black)
Engine: 1.1 8v , 54bhp/64.9 Torque (lbs feet)

Well the car didn't stay this way for long! Next i de-badged the tailgate and removed the back wiper!

Whole Car Colour Coded
Abarth Body Kit - Spoiler, Side Skirts, Alloys

INTERIOR:

Clarion Headunit
Clarion Sub Woofer
Mutant Front Components
Mutant Amplifier

ENGINE:
JanSpeed Back Box Exhaust 3"
GSR Induction Kit

I have also replaced the K&N Airfilter with a GSR induction kit! After the K&N was a nightmare driving to FastFest!

I have also used Rob's old Cinq lowering springs and shocks! So the car now sits on 40mm Spax Adjustables althought i want LOWER! lol

And i now also have Italian style Number Plates.

WHITE... Wink Cool, I was thinking of getting mine powder coated in 'white' or I may go the other end of the scale and go for a 'black sparkle metalic' finish..Good luck in your search..
