  Well the Peco is now on............God that was hard work fitting and exhaust when the car is just sitting on axle stands. 2 hours!!! Would never get a job as a kwik-fit- fitter .My neck, arms and shoulders are killing me this morning  . Well is does sound a lot better, not too loud,,and with no pussy on board (de-cat pipe  ) it should give me one or two extra BHP..

  Well a little more money has been spent.. Just taken delivery of a FMIC, came off a Saab 900 and should look good mounted below the rad..Not sure if I will paint it SIlver!!! I will also spray the GT logo on the front.. Another little purchase which has just been made is a Dawes spring n ball boost controller. Wont fit this until the weekend.. All thats left to do now is a set of boots and thats it  Well for now

IVE BEEN SPENDING AGAIN;;;;; Due to the fact tha the end of my crank is snapped off i thought it would be best to locate another engine..... Well I have found a GT3 lump for 300 quid which includes delivery from Durham..Expecting it late next week. I don't plan to fit it straight away (unless I blow mine at Eurofest) as I intend cleaning as much as I can on it. A good steam clean and may be a coat of paint..
Who know's perhaps 'Half-pint' will fit it for me,, :elmo

Yep I'm well pleased..Guy reckons it has done 87K and is one of the best maintained GT engines..Having frequent oil/cambelt changes etc etc..Either way it has to be better than my snapped crank end 
Just need to handle her with care next weekend at Castle Combe 
Then after that I need a nice warm weekend to do the transplate
