FMIC good mod if intending on running more boost.

I think you are thinking on a fuel pressure regulator if talking of FSE, you can also look at products from SARD, and Aero Motive good deals if buying from US because of strong pound against dollar. Though thats not to say the FSE stuff is not good, there new anodised alloy one looks very nice and more like the SARD?aero products.

If you want to control boost, I'd go for a electronic boost controller, something like Greedy or Turbo Smart make great products, as do AEM.

Well I am just waiting for a FMIC to arrive.. Got it for a tenner including postage
Its off a Saab 900, usual mod for a GT and should ( ) fit using the standard intercooler hoses.

Weds I should be taking delivery of a set of Cobra 3 point seat harnesses for my bucket seats.

This just leaves a boost controller to get and a set of decent RUBBER for my alloys..Current tyres are crap..

FMIC and a dawes boost controller are now fitted..Seems to be running a lot better..The only down side is the FMIC does sit in front of the rad so therefore my water temp does tend to rise a little over half-way when on idle/stuck in traffic..

Nice one I didn't see the FMIC at Comb. FSE boost valves are crap, totally pointless & a waste of a 100 quid.

Not strictly true, a FSE Power Boost valve is nothing more than a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. Bosch rising rate fuel pressure regulators were fitted to the likes of integrale, Cosworths etc as standard.

There purpose is to increase fuel pressure when the car is producing boost, this increased fuel pressure overcomes the increase inlet pressure and increases fuel flow when its needed.

Some turbo cars like R5GTT's Uno etc which were by no means as well developed like the cars I mentioned which were designed as homologation cars for WRC have these but normal or fuel pressure regulators that may not incrase fuel pressure quickly enough or high enough, by fitting an uprated FPR can have benefits especially if increasing the standard boost pressure that the OE regulator can legislate for.

On a N/A car, I can't see any real benefit unless running lairy cams and running to high rpms.
