if you just plug it into the main loom and turn the ignition on should the PV not jump into life??? What other parts are you still waiting for?

None, the bike's complete just need to tidy the wiring up & stick all the necessary fluids in. When I turn the ignition on nothing happens. I have been told there is a grey wire test that you're supposed to do to reset the unit.

Bit of an update. I brought home some heavy duty commercial axle stands & decided to fit the SV shock. I'm not sure the pics will show the difference but it is quite substantial. Looks so much better & you can see the hugger a lot better. Still got loads of adjustment on the height as well. Before: After:

A little update: I had the bike running today. Unfortunately there is petrol pissing out of the carb & it blows back every now & then. It's definitely over fuelling although I haven't touched the previous settings. Once running it runs really well any ideas?? The exhaust is really noisy as well I'm guessing I should've coated the new gasket in fire gum?

Yeah it's also coming out of the bottom of the carb which I don't understand as I've never had it apart.

Started taking a mould from the butt I made for the bellypan this evening. Release agent on: Gel coat on: First layer done: The petrol problem on the bike is now sorted, just needed petrol running through the carb to expand the seals. The exhaust is also sorted (I had the gasket in the wrong place :shifty: ) MOT booked for saturday, just hope the weather gets better.
