Hi all,

I thought i would share with you all,as i said the other day my fuel pump bracket is WIP and my good friend has just gave me a computer generated pic of the finished design although it will not be this colour it will come to me in plain white and i will have to be finished off by giving it a prim with some paint it and giving it a rub down to smooth it off a little with some wet and dry followed by another prime of paint followed by a few coats of red paint to finish it off then i can fill the text in using a syringe and needle using some white paint to finish it off so i hope to have it very soon but i just thought i would share it with you,

Hi All,

Well i took delivery today of my new Mechanical Lifeline ZERO 2000 so i hope to get it all plumbed in over the next week,

The kit comes complete with:

Cylinder and bracket and 3 securing straps

6' ft T-handle pull cable for the cabin

12' ft T-handle pull cable for the scuttle panel

4 x nozzles, one for the driver and one for passenger and 2 for the engine bay,

6m ridged alloy plastic covered tube, but more may be needed

3 x click together t-connectors

Decals

I will also need some 8mm clips to secure the tubbing so i will have to get some of them tomorrow from my local motor factors so thats not so bad but i will wait out on buying more tubbing as iam not sure 6m will be enough even with this small car? but i will wait and see how i get on first,

It also comes with a complete instruction guide as it will be a first for me but it looks pretty straight forward so i should have it fitted in no time,

Hi guys and girls,

Well i got delivery today of the lifeline tubbing clicks thats you don't get as a part of the kit ,

I hope to get started to it tomorrow so i will update as and when i get the work done, iam still not sure where to locate the cylinder but as long as its in the safety zone......ie within the cage it can pretty much go anywhere you wish, iam thinking of locating it just behind the passenger seat away from kicking feet, well see,

See yah about Scuderia

Its never bloody easy is it:d

Well i have decided to mount and bolt the bracket and cylinder under my legs just under the front of my seat as believe it or not every other location thats available just does not fit the bill at all,i would have fitted it below the Co/Drivers seat but because i fitted a foot rest as well as foot plate on that side the plate gets in the way of mounting it there but iam happy enough to have it at my side,

Here is a pic where it will be mounted,

You will see in the pic's below as to where i can't mount it because of the reasons below,

The cage when fitted would foul the cylinder,

Harnesses would foul the cylinders working parts,

Harness eye bolts foul the cylinder,

Seats when fitted would not be high enough to place the cylinder underneath,

Me or the Co/Driver can't pull the pin when harnesses are fitted,

Harness and eye bolts foul the working parts and the Co/Driver and me can't reach the pin when seated and harnesses fitted

To High to fit below the seat when mounted and we both can't reach the pin when seated with harnesses fitted

Below marked in red is where the interior pull handle will be fitted that we can both reach when seated and harnesses fitted,

Below is where the outside pull handle will be fitted,

Well thats about all i had time to do today but theres always another after today:d
