I sanded it all back on Wedenday and gave its first coat of primer then gave it its second coat of primer on the Thursday as well as its first coat of the red that evening then gave its second coat of red on the Friday and its final and third coat today but i will wait till next weekend before fitting it as i have alot on this week  so don't have time until then,

It has come together very fast the last few months of the 17 months ive owned it and there will now be not more till winter 2010-11 and that will all be engine and exhaust system work,

I still have the lifeline parts to finish off in the engine bay but its not much work at all but iam still waiting on them parts as they are on back order so i think its now time to take my business to some other company first thing on Monday morning??we'll see,

Its in the lounge to dry as its far to cold outside thats the only reason i got to do that lol,she  is an amazing woman

Hi Guys & Girls,

Well it took me a little longer than i first thought to fit the half cage,

The time i got it prepped and painted and waited for it to dry which i had to do in the house dry the cage that is it was far to cold in the garage so that gave me time to get all the 3mm steel plate brackets i needed made up so i got a good friend to make them up for me then i mig welded them into place then drilled and painted them so at long last its now fitted,i also ordered some cage padding so its just now just a case of fitting some cable ties to finish it off,

Iam also pleased to say the parts i ordered turned up i needed to finish the lifeline system off in the engine bay so there now all fitted so it now finished




I just have a few more odd jobs now to do for its MOT test in April then there will be no more work done on it till Autumn,

Cheers,i was saying to Sandy the other day i wish i could make Comb but i still have to mot and tax it between now and then and money is not something i have at the monute but iam sure at some point we will meet up?maybe at another Comb later in the year?

well the mod bug is catchy, even charlie said to his other half nah it just gonna be a lil runaround and then he joined the rebels

fiats are so easy to mod and cinq's and sei's are one of the easiest and cheapest to mod but above all fiats have to be the most fun car to drive
