Well my knob didn't arrive today but iam still not ready for it so Monday will be ok but the bonnet pins arrived so i have started fitting them today but i forgot to recharge the battery on the bloody drill so i will get back on the job tomorrow,well i got the foot pedals fiited but the accelerator pedal is far too big for my liking but they will do for now,i got some of the stickers i got from Charlie fitted today he gave me 2 little ones so i used them on the doors and i also used 1 of the large ones he sent on the sunroof but i have not used the other one yet as iam not sure i have any space left over to use it other than the roof panel itself?? we'll see?,

My Sparco bonnet pins look the same as yours, same colour too  I want to see a pic of the big sticker that I gave you. That should look good, it's bad when you "ahem" knob don't arrive isn't it  then the door bell goes, you rush, fumbleing at the door latch. You open the door only to find the postman grinning back at you saying I have your knob!!! Still I hope it arrives soon, but looking good D

Yeah let me know how ya get on putting them on oh and take some snaps too. I hear that its simple enough job to do but it's putting the bolts in a good anchorage point and lining them up with the holes in ya bonnet.

No probls Charlie i will post a rough guide for you to follow but its quite easy,

I have still to locate the main bolts and locking brakets but i will do them tomorrow as i have just undercoated and painted the raw steel after drilling the holes to keep the dreeded rust away

The ancor point i used was just above the headlights and the drill bit size for my bolt pin was 10mm? not sure if yours will be the same? and the drill bit for the holes for the main locking braket i used was 4.5mm,

Now you will need to shorten the main bolts as they are far to long to use where i have fitted them but i will get the size i cut them to tommorrow for you,

Iam not sure if your pins are larger at the locking in end than the other? but mines where so the hole size on the bonnet needs to be a a little wider than 10mm so the bolt pin can slip through with ease so the holes on my bonnet needed to be 13mm,

I will finish them off tomorrow after the paint has dryed and i will then post up more pics and the size you need to cut the bolt pins too if your going to use the same location as i have but thats up to you ,just watch though Charlie as not all pins sets are the same,

Cheers mate,i do have another large OMP sticker  and i was going to stick it on the main roof panel but with that one on the sunroof i think it will be to much?? so iam going to place it on the bonnet at a angle all going well tomorrow,cheers Scuderia

Well i got the pins and stickers finished off today

Charlie i cut the bonnet bolts from the top where the locking pins go through at 3" long but remember your look a little longer?? i hope that helps

Cheers DJ to be honest i thought that myself but i quite like them although its not everyones cupa? but i like them and that has to be the No1 rule when modding a car in my books but its always good to get different opinions good or bad i think,
