hi all having slight trouble getting nats car ready for the mot as it failed on emissions.....lambda sensor refitted and fine but its throwing code p0443 up on the obd which is the evaporative emission control system i rang fiat and until he entered the chassis number he said nats shouldnt have this evap solenoid/valve or whatever it is but then said it actually has got it ive found it to be called a few different things ie purge valve/solenoid/cannister etc and am just stuck as to where to find it under the bonnet in order to replace it.
the issue is down to this as there is a big build up of pressure when you take the fuel cap off and its also running like a bag of spanners....she's desperate to get it back on the road and am at my wits end with it at the minute, any help or advice greatly appreciated, thanks in advance sean

What car is it (editied as I just saw it was Sei section, I was linked to the thread you see), if its a Cinq then look at the big black charcoal cannister thing that hangs off gearbox, thats the purge system, on Sei's its hidden up inside the passenger side wheel arch, need to remove the lining to get to it.

Never known anyone have an issue with this. Its also worth getting some carb/injector cleaner and removing the plenum top off the throttle body and giving it a good clean out, you can if you're feeling like giving yourself more work remove the idle control valve from side of throttle body and give it a good clean as well.
