These are the only upgrades I have been able to buy recently as money is tight and the damn recession is screwing up me plans! So, I have bought this supersprint 421 stainless mainifold and de-cat pipe for £185.00 including postage from a guy on FF. And I bought this Sparco strut brace for £85.00 from Demon Tweeks. I am happy............for now!

The brace is on now, had to remove the soundproofing from the bulkhead and move the battery back so thanks for the help hint there Donald   and I had to also repostion the ecu and its mounting bracket as it was stopping the brace fitting on the near side. It took a while to sort it out so it all fitted and alot of   but I got there

Sure you put brace on right way round as you shouldn't have to remove and soundproofing from engine bay to fit any strut brace, and I think I've fitted all the ones currently available and some NLA, Sparco, OMP, Eibach etc, the one you have is normally listed for an 899cc Cinq as it has the two 90degree angle bits which have to be forced down between the strut tops so its braced against the bodywork of the car, i've seen it fitted upside down many times. You will see it has a hole in this part which you are then meant to drill the strut top and fix inplace with a nut & bolt, or big self tapper, though most don't bother as its tight to get it in there in first place.

Exhaust and manifold look great, good price too, I picked up a SuperSprint manifold for our 1.4 16V Cinq off FF for about teh same and it was like new looked like it had hardly seen any heat at all.

Hi Charlie, you don't have to remove the sound proofing my friend but its helps and since i put the car on a diet it was unecessary weight ditch it,my omp brace was very tight on the battery side but it did fit the sound deadening in place but since its been moved it does help move the battery and its tray back a little but again it all depends on what battery you have fitted??as some can be a little larger than others,i  never had a problem with my ecu side but again mine was omp??? so iam not sure whats going on with that Sparco brace?? i think Evo could be right?? do you have it the right way round, sorry to have to ask all the best Donald

Yeah its on right as on the brace you have 1 hole on the top and 2 down the bottom if you flip it around the other way it would be 2 holes at the top and 1 down the bottom as the strut bolts don't line up  but it seems fine now lol
