I loved the Uniroyal Rainsports in 195/45/14. I briefly tried the Falkens in the same size, but it seemed the sidewalls were just too stiff to suit the suspension. Turn in was fine, grip was fine, but you'd get this strange mid corner understeer.
There's a (true) rumour that Marangoni have been asked to do a Zeta Linea in 195/45/14 which should be worth a look at.
I've run the PGT rear disk conversion alongside the stock drum -- there's little in it, but I think the standard drum has a little more feel. At any rate, I prefer it.

Hi all
there the wrong shape all they will do is bring the wheel out more, they dont have any attachment to bolt the caliper on
heres a link
http://www.fiatforum.com/cinquecento-seicento-guides/172993-rear-disc-brake-conversion-ii.html
Now I see what they are for..
Buy some alloy plate and make them your self?

OK, most things have been covered, but brakes first.
Fronts the normal Punto GT turbo upgrade, this gives you 257mmX20mm vented disc's, callipers found on other cars like 1.8Bravo/A, Marea and 1.6 AUTOS and not 2L 20V those are much bigger and do not bolt on. Disc wise you do not need to go for anything fancy, RallyDeisgn Group N disc's are perfect, cheap and last long with good co-efficient of friction.
Pads, it has to be Mintex M1144, Ferrodo DS2500 I personally would not use much else.
Rears, strip drums down, check condition of drum and shoes, replace as necessary, fit new cylinders, very cheap and means you are assured they are working. This is crucial bit either replace or completely strip down and use high quality grease on the actuator arms, they should move very freely between your fingers without effort.
Or fit a rear disc conversions that uses the front standard Cento 240X11mm solid disc. Advantages are less maintenance to keep good, dissipate heat better if doing track work, much better handbrake, look soooo much better!
Of course to fit the bigger front brakes 14" wheels are needed, you have a few choices, Abarth 14" wheels which are 5.5J ET36 with 10mm spacers on front only as standard. tyre sizes restricted to 175or185/5014Go to aftermarket wheels which are normally 6J opens up market to 195/45 tyres much bigger selection. Again offset (ET) has to be approx 33-38 region to work with either 10-15mm spacers. Do not use universal spacers, they are rubbish and can lead to wheel wobble.
Or go 15" wheel stick to 5.5J wide (or 6J with bit more of a squeeze)and can go for a 175/50/15 tyre has near enough same rolling diameter as a 185/5014, or even better Toyo R888 in 165/50 15, ubber track grip and slightly less rolling diameter than a 185/50 14. Can go to a 185/45/15 if you can find them, these sizes are Smart Car front wheels sizes so they are out there, just not in large numbers.

Thanks Evo for all the info
you are the guru. I am running on 14's and I am going to have to buy some new 10mm spacers, just got back from the garage and had fitted a full set of Falken ZE912's and had it all retracked. The tracking was out by 25 toe out opps! For the total cost of £166.00 which I thought was fairly good.
