Well after little Charlie gave me a hand to fit the much larger Punto GT calipers and discs, still have to bleed the whole system yet
I did put in my new rollcage padding on some of the roof bars and I need to buy some more padding to complete it so after doing that I decided to take a few snaps of her seeing as it was a nice day, just  to show her off  hope you like them  :winner

It's coming along well.

On looking at the pictures, it's hard to tell, but it looks like the cage it just bolted to the rear wheel arches, it should have 3mm thick plates welded to the wheel arch, then cage bolted through both, otherwise in an accident the cage can just rip through the wheel arches. This spreads the load of the cage on the wheel arch making everything much stronger.

yeah it will be great :winner last time I was at Combe was in Septemberr and the car had its old suspension set up and the ecu was chipped and it had the GSR and the Sportex rear box. So it really should be a different ride.

Well after having a fantastic time at castle combe I can honestly say that the work on my little ol cinq has paid off! I am so glad I got the Avo coilovers, what a difference that has made  :winner along with the Powerflex bushes all round it has made the car stiffer than a stud on a bottle of viagra! Very much point and shoot sort of driving around the cornors and the cage has really helped too. On the powerside the 4 branch decated stainless straight through systm has helped and the 866 cam, GSR has also all come together.
The bucket Sparcos really did hold you in place as well along with the 3 points.
it is getting better,

If any cinq owners want an cinq parts I have loads as I have had to break my blue one, purf,  if you need anything gimme a shout as I do have a spare rear beam going and I know you wanted one.
I have put a few things on the for sale listings on here.

I got my clock surround flocked by a guy called Doug nice bloke, just for £40! What a bargain! And that included free postage on return, his company is called suffolk flocking services. Yeah yeah I know if you say it fast it sounds like suffolk f**king services which Sandy thought of when I told her the company name and then found it very funny   Still moving on, so if you want to get some stuff flocked and it's your kinda bag look up Doug on his website ww.suffolkflockingservices.co.uk

Yeah something like that and it is a bit like putting a finger in each side of your month and saying "my dads a banker and he banks all day" this is getting silly now
