Oh and I have bought 4 rolls of roll cage padding so that should be enough to pad out my cage and I bought it all for a bargain price of £19.00 not bad.

1242 That brings back memories of me doing HT's old cinq on a cold damp Sunday morning.. It's a one man job but would be easier if there was two helping.. I presume you have the manifold spacer at hand

Not sure if you can butcher the flange of another manifold Cut off the pipe just leaving the clamping flange. I think you need 8/10mm spacer...
What about the new paint job? Is that still on the list of things to do?

I found a punto 60 downpipe is a perfect fit and does not have a CAT. If your not a cat person. You do have to forget about the exhaust clamp on the back of the engine block though and take it off. 2 bolts, its fine without. You then have the problem of conencting that to the rest of your system, which i think requires a bolt on flange to fit the punto pipe. But you can just butcher it elf haha
