500 quid to do a fiat HG wtf! would only take a couple of hours either side of the head being skimmed!

There is a good place in westbury to get the head done if you do it yourself. Will try and find the name/number if you want it?

I dont have the time to do it myself as i use it for work. we are replacing all the gaskets, water pump and cam belt.

OMG you shud see the radiator that was in me car. You touch the fins on one side of it and they fall off. Luckily Big Mick came to the rescue again.

ouch £500 my mums car just had the head gasket done and its a ford mondeo 1.8 16v and that was £525 also a new cambelt free. £500 seems a bit pricey did u shop around?

I forgot to take pics of all the other new bits!!! At least the car is back on the road now after taking nearly 3 days to do

yeah had to have fullpint put a few things right. but so far so good.

She is running well once again. cost for mechanic £80.00 parts cost more than the mechanic how cool is that. The compression is back to full and she has her mojo back. MPG has increased lots too, so well happy.
