My Heart is Broken

Hi all,

Well i just though i would start a little thread as i lost one of the cats last Thursday,her name was Cossie aged 12:cat,you can guess what car i named her after?when we got her in 1997 i had a Ford Sierra Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth so i thought it was very fitting ,

I have been brought up with cats all my life but this has been the first one i had to have put to sleep with me being there,she had a little growth in her mouth just under her tongue and she went into have it removed last Thursday morning but the vets phoned to say to come back so we did to be told the best thing to do was to have her put to sleep and it has broken my heart and iam missing her so much,as sad as it may be i just thought i would share this with you,

I know how you are feeling mate..I lost a dog (Toby) a few years ago..When the vet told me its best we let him go i was very up-set.. I kept his ashes for many years..Then one day (after about 7 years) I made a trip to Weston Pier and laid him to rest....

it is hard losing a pet. they are much like children. They are loyal and keep us amused and there when we are feeling bad. r.i.p. cossie.

Cheers,sorry to here about Toby,we do get close but i guess thats what its all about or otherwise we would not have them,we still have 3 and 2 of them are her son and dauhter and the other is just the family scallywag so a little bit of her is still with us i just counldn't face getting the ashes although it is getting easyier but hell it hurts,
