alarm

ok today as i got home from collage and i saw my mums indercators flashing on her ford mondeo lx 1.8l (97) she informed me that her alarm keeps going off so i had a look around and it wasnt goin off again then about 30mins later i went down and opend the boot a couple of times since she sed that was what happend before in the day and then the alarm went off and this is with the immoberlize and everthing actived but has never done it before in like 1-2 years of ownership so i had a look at the conectors and all of that and its seems to be ok i was just posting to see in anyone with a ford or a mondeo has ever heard or had this problem befor

Chas's lil help dose the alarm just go off randomly for no reason is that what ya saying, and is it a factory fit ford alarm or after market

yes it gose off randomly but also sometimes when u open the boot but it has been fine since i played with the conectors it might of just been a lose wire and it was factory fitted

normanly ya know those prong fings hanging down (the conectors) in the boot when I work at fords they was always gooseing up I used sell loads of them from the parts dept cos no one ever makes sure they still work by making sure they make a good connact so they always shag out..........

well the thing is about that car is it used to be my anty but about 2 years ago they were killed by a polish lorry driver and it was also my anty's birthday yestorday she must of been filderling with the car but it is all fine now there are no problems with it now lol SPOOKY
