Thought it about time to make a thread about our track day toy that we have been building now for some time.

The base is a 1997 Cinquecento with factory Abarth kit fitted from new.
The engine is a near zero mileage 1368cc 16v and 6speed gearbox from a Grande Punto, it will be running Canems ECU with wasted spark, this ECU has full data logging.
It's fully striupped out and will be getting a new Sparco roll-cage fitted whenever it arrives, was ordered in July, blooming Italians!
Also have 15" 5.5J Lancia Dedra turbo wheel which i think we will fit 175/50 15 rubber to.
Car has AVO height bump/rebound adjustable coil-overs at front, AVO bump/rebounddampers on rear with either standard or Eibach springs as we have a custome made rear anti-roll bar fittted, so as thats a spring the springs rates can be lower.
SuperSprint S/S manifold with custome made exhaust from the GP the engine came from.
It also has a Quaife ATB LSD fitted that was custom made as part of a group buy.
Custom made short shft kit.
Punto GT3 front calipers with HGT 257mm vented discs as they are 22mm rather than 20mm thick, Punto HGT rear caliper conversion using 240mm solid discs which are same as standard front Cento discs!
Suspension shot blasted and stove enameled, poly bushes front and rear.

I'll let the pictures do the talking from when we bought sat next to our Seicento Abarth which also has a 1368cc 16V 6speed fitted though running Emerald ECU, to now.

Thanks for the feedback, the car runs so just waiting now on roll-cage arriving and to get some tyres and then once that lor fitted it will be over to r/r to get it mapped. Should prove to be great fun, can't wait to try out the LSD on it think it will transform the car.

Yes work permitting, the whole point of this car is to be just for track, so once up and running Beford Autodrome, and other close circuits will need to be visited, I guess having Silverstone on my doorstep as well helps but can be expensive, by Mallory, Curbourgh, Donnington are all very close by.

Castle Combe is on the list as well, thats a must.

Will it be road legal or are you hooking up a trailer and having R888 fitted?

It will be completly road legal, and maybe wear R888's at same time asit will not be used in Winter, or heavy rain.
