Cool! Have fun on it. Sure you can't keep the punto? Just leave it off the road until you're better off? There are loads of tuning goodies for those bikes get yourself on the pitbike forum.

rely not sure about the punto at this point in time we shall see , is quite expensive to insure cuz its a sporting well for me anyway. been looking on the pit bike n monkey forums but aint signed up yet , av got a 125 pit bike too . been looking at parts i want ether a mono shock convertion or just some better spring some piggy back gas ones would be nice , not sure tho cuz i like the old schoolness of twin shock reminds me of my old yam dt 50 , with a 100cc engine from i think an rd that we put in it. what do you all think i should do to it , (no modds for a while i am skint but ideas haha)

160cc engine would be a start, then bigger carb & a single race exhaust. If the bike handles ok I'd leave the suspension alone for the time being. Maybe a rear disc conversion would be a good idea but not really necessary on such a light bike.

its got a bigger carb on the 110 engine its got in it and its got twin race pipes on , mite go for bigger engine later but since i havent passed my bike test i dnt want it to be bigger than a 125 n it goes as well as my pit bike does (its a 125) i no i could just not regiter it as a 160 but if i have an accident i'm screwd, there is a bike breakers local to me they alweys have pit bikes in could i fit a pit bike rear disk set up to it , i no it would somehow but do you have any idea if it would be a direct fit , could just take the bike with me i supose. n wanted to change the rear shocks as mine have a very small bit of surface corrosion , i would like some nice shiney new ones so mite as well upgrade them haha . thanks for the advise , i will defo put a bigger engine in at some point.

Well you don't register the engine just stick it in. I would replace that exhaust system, as nice as it looks & sounds I almost guarantee it's losing power. Exhausts on bikes are a fine art it's all to do with pressure waves both on 2 & 4 stroke engines more so on bikes than cars & to make useful power it needs to be the right length & shape. I wouldn't advise getting an open cone filter either just drill a couple of holes in the top of the airbox (pre-filter)& perhaps fit a freer flowing airfilter. It might not give you a massive increase but it'll sound nice & the engine shouldn't require rejetting (a lot of hassle).

its got a performance filter on it (should have said what mods its got haha  ) i carnt afford a new pipe at the mo so will c ho it runs with the one its got for the moment then i could try the race pipe my pit bike has got on c if it makes a difference. Ryt it has longer swinging arm , 10" alloy wheels, twin pipes, cone filter, bigger carb, risers n bmx style bars, quick throtl, oil cooler and oil catch tank with braided hoses. thanks for the advice mate

I forgot about the wheels ...can you fit 12" rims? That would make the bike a whole a lot more stable & turn in faster. Did you get the original airbox with the bike? The cone filter probably sounds nice but eventually won't do the engine any good.
