As some of you know Ive had my Coupe for just over a year now;
1998 on a R plate 2.0l 20v Turbo.
Its not the same now!! Read on to see whats been done....
Currently on 100500 miles.
On purchase is was standard apart from a Bailys DV and K&N.
This is by far the BEST car I have owned. It puts a smile on your face every time you drive it. The power is AWESOME and YES ALL my mods are declared

The first thing I done was powder coated my wheels in a chrome silver;

The rolling road vid from feb 2010

Next I purchased a OMP strut brace. This came off a 16VT but fitted my 20VT a treat. Just needed to cable tie the fuse box to it.

Next little mod was to powder coat my rocker cover and coil pack cover.

MOT due in Aug 2010 which came up with a worn track rod end

New one ordered;

And fitted a treat;

I have also lost my cat!!!

In Feb 2010 (after being made redundant in Nov) I spent a lot of money of the coop.. Over £1600 :hit
I took the car to Flea (he's a top guy when it comes to coupe's) for a FULL belt change, Hybrid turbo, chipped and re-mapped.  Also whilst Flea had the car he fitted a set of Eilbach lowering springs. 35mm I think..Its putting out 291 BHP now and is a joy to drive..
In Sept 2010 I fitted Yellow stuff pads to the front WOW what a change it has made to braking..
Nov 2010 I refurbished my rear light cups.. Not to everyones taste but I love em.

Paint stripped em;

Powder coated em White;

And bonded them back in;

My rear end now looks like this;

I will make a start on my front lights this month.. Pics to follow.
I have also just purchased (Charlie will love this) a Zender grill for it. Again this will be stripped, blasted and powder coated in Gloss White. Hopefully next week..
Jobs To do;
MUST look at my front brakes. I have a frozen brake pedal on start up so I need to strip them down and check all parts.. Details to follow.

Hi matey,

You must have kept this one quite?? i never know you had it? did you sell the Suzuki?

Iam a big fan of the 20v but never owned one nor will i ? although funnier things have happened i bought Cento lmfao, so i might own one some day but i doubt it?,

Loving the wheels...its hard to beat a powder coat finish...there looking great,

I like the rear lighting cups...there different but they seem to work well to my eyes,

I think i have a few 20v shims kicking about?? sorry iam not sure what sizes they are but if your ever playing with the cams they might come in handy for you one day? don't even ask why i have 20v shims,lets just say i thought they were the same size as Cento shims but they have a 2mm larger circumference than the cento's lol,if you need them give me shout and I'll send down as there no good to me mate,

Keep up the good work,

All the best Don

Looking fantastic Steve, wen I had my coupe I put at first a 16v grill on asit sat further back under the bonnet, then changed to a zender one, they are made of metal but looked lush. Also fitted a turbo timer and a 20v Sparco strut brace with a bailey DV26 dump valve and Bembo front drilled and grooved discs and pads to go wth the Brembo calipers. I sure miss that car. But yours is looking a real nice bit of eye candy, love it.

I was going to be different!!!! Like my rear cups
Looked what arrived today;

So into the stripper tank in went;

A quick blast and and slap on the old White powder coat, 10mins at 180 degrees and this is what came out

Will fit it at the weekend and take a photo of it on the car

The guy who sold me the Zender grill also had some standard H1 bulbs (my n/s one is below MOT standaard) and he also threw in a set of these
