thanks everyone, i shall wear that badge with pride martin haha. i rely do need the engine cleaned up like paint powder coat bits and peices but that can be done in time i just need it running asap i'm gona take a presure washer to it cuz there is soo much dirt under the bonnet , my bulkhead should be blue but its brown/gray hahaha. If i keep this car for long enuf that i can actully get insured with an engine swap (for a resonable price) , i'm gona smooth my engine bay n relocate the battery and washerbottle to the back , a top fill radiator and a nice 2.0l abf with polished rocker cover and bits and peices. But just gna get it low n tidy for the time being  carnt wait for the postman to bring me my low sticks |

STU just to annoy ya I just took my daughter Lucy & her little son Tyler home when we got near to her home a convoy of Mk1 & 2 Golfs all Euro styled up went passed well  NICE  , if you would ave seen them you would need a box of tissues to contain the excitement they would ave caused for ya  I didn't ave me phone or camera on me so no photos and my daughters phone was in the boot in her bag  , shame I would of like some pics  |

sweet i love seeinng a convoy of vws i would have been droooling lol , i saw a few today myself think it cuz we ha resonable wether today they came out of hiding , saw a immaculate mk1 drop top and a big bumperd mk2 valver went screeming past me

There nice and pretty , just noticed you've got the same colour wood floor as us........  I must be so dull & boring to ave noticed that no wonder my kids disown me sometimes , did ya ave a look at my suspension stuff that turned up for mine not as shiney as yours though |

209.90 inc vat & p&p from ebay only downside I had to wait for them to come from Germany via Holland even though the company I got them from was in UK, another fing I found out there are some special nut & bolts that go on the front struts that break when you change front struts so I ave to buy some new ones but allegedly I can only get these from FIAT and they are 30quid  for four two on each strut, unless I can find out what size they are or can I use none FIAT one its gonna be 30 quid |

 we have the same flooring in the pints house as well think we all went to the same sale. and ouch martin. hope you find some that are cheaper but just as good. |

Yeah know wot I mean, I get the suspension kit cheap 199.95 now he is giving back the postage/delivery charge to me , only to be done up like a kipper by bloody FIAT  and I bet you got your flooring in the B&Q sale like we did |

sure it was B&Q aswell haha , thats a god price for that make mate i have herd they are mint . got mine for 143.99 posted haha but they are just budget ones i think mine are called TA Technics but i just bought them for lows plus less body role haha. thats crap bout nuts n bolt like hope you can fn a cheaper solution
