Coming along nicely Stu  Just think how far you could get if you had a nice big garage.. I guess this is a summer job?? As in work can only be done when its dry out.. So do you have a traget date for this?  :goodjob

thanks guys  i dont see why people dont paint stuff when doing things like this do it properly or dont bother is the way i think . next will be getting the wiring sorted , first i just want it running then i will be choping and lengthening parts of the loom to go through my wings and under the front cross member i dont wana see any wires :P ... yea steve this things being built on my drive which is a bit of a pain while puting the subframe in we had a storm and just threw everything back in the garrage and sat in the house till it was over then quickly got everything bolted up. i wish i had a garrage to work in but my dads cobra rep gets kept in ours. i dont rely have a target but i would like to get it finished for ed38 2012 (sept) but only time and money can tell , i cant rely do any body work as such at the mo as i need to learn to weld (there are only a very few bits of scab but most welding will be body mods) also i dont have a set of wheels i want to run on this i eed something wide and different to the old bbs splits ect as nice as they are they are on every other vw including my own (lupo) then make them fit in the arches  i wil try my best to get more work done as im finished uni for the year so ive got more time on my hands i think this weeks job will be to get the loom out and get choping with the vr6 one
