You now need to get one of these bonnet/eyebrow spoilers that would finish the front off and gives it a meaner look. see in pic

Aint too sure bout leagle tinted front lights theres a BMW specailist around my way they used to sell complete front tinted head light kit for E30's and they seemed OK cos the guy that own the shop was a bit always on the keeping legal type, I did see some on a E30 once, they look tinted when off but looked like normal light when switch on bit like those chrome indecator/side light bulbs ya get to go in clear lens look chrome but light up when used. mined you a copper will moan about anyfing ya do to ya car

they look proper mean with dark front lights , what you do on the jetta ones you heat them up separate glass from backing and u spray parts of the reflective plastic black so the shiny appear to be black but they aint (this is exactly what proper production tinted jetta lights are like inside) then seal em back up. If put brighter bulbs in I think it would still work ok and be like you said look normal when on but tinted when off, n they still e marked on outside loll. Not sure if I gona was just an idea. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2492575
