New oil pressure sensor, new fuel pump, busy prepping bits to paint today. Did a mock up with new front end on looks sweet but you lot will have to wait and see till I get it sorted properly lol . Bad news paint is obsolete from vw so I gna have to try and get it mixed up grrrr

Right dad took the air box thing to work today and cleaned it in the paraffin bath n ordered me a new air filter and oil filter got em already. I have also painted the metal dome top from the air box, looks very good considering the way it was. Will get picks up soon: thumbs

wow i new they made the mk2f in g40 but there is a mk2 one f**k they must be rare.

N i dnt no what my dad is doing with them but i just spotted a set of bike carbs at my front door when i came in that his mate gave him, i wonder if i could get him to help me put them on the golf , apparantly it aint hard to actullt get them made u to fit but jeting is a bugger :eek3. aww welll i will be happy just geting it on the road

looked into the bike carb root n aparenly cbr600 carbs dnt need rejetting , but i dnt think i am going to go down that road for now as fuel consumtion goes down. but i won something on ebay yesterday picking them up on saturday but u will have to wait 4 pics

i am addicted to ebay lol i love a bargan , i blame it a lil a my phone contract i get free net on my mob and there is an ebay shortcut haha. i have won some new wheels for her at the price of £56 get pics as soon as i gt them i have big plans for em too  :ding

n charlie i carn't wait main thing thats holding me up is paint carn't find it anywere vw don't make it anymore, so i probs have to get the colour mixed up but i aint gona get get a perfect match :(

i was thinking bout just getting some mixed up and hope for the best but i rely don't want to pay daft prices halturds wants 12.99 to mix a 300ml spray can . i know of another place local but the paint company they use have just went bust i am gona have a look into it. i couldnt find that APW on the net steve might not have a site or i not looking hard enuf lol thanks anyway mate

STU try these http://www.morelli.co.uk/ they ave  branches all over we have a large branch near me, a lot of the crash repair places use them in our area, they have been about along time nomally just say take the fuel cap flap in to them or the paint code and they do it while you wait   just looked on there site I didnt  relise our one in Enfield London is the head office
