Painted stuff green today. Was a good morning to paint, dry and got hot after i had finished to dry the paint nicely.

I also made the mesh up for the front bumper - Iv used some plastic square pattern mesh - so it will not need painting and I think it'l be a lot stronger.

Now im gonna wait till friday for the green to harden. Put the lights in then fit the skirts and bumper elf haha

I hate waiting for the paint to dry!!!

And also fitted the red rear bumper today:) and polished it so it shines

The green paint was applied with a brush and finished with a gloss roller. The finish is like a poor spray job elf haha

Oh - and a good tip for anyone removing cento rear bumpers. Mole grips are pretty good for stopping the capive square things on the bottom two mounting points from spinning.

Fitting Front and rear bumpers and side skirts. The car was painted about 2 years ago at christmas time. It was sprayed in our shed and took about a week. The car was smart in starter red but i drove it into a hedge to avoid a big fat audi that spoilt my fun Wink

There is a thread on FF if you search for Italian Flag...

Skirts test fit last night - Then i couldnt wait to fit one. I used duct tape to hold it in place as the sikaflex dried.

The picture shows test fit with no glue elf haha

Lots of loo roll and solvent (deoderant! elf haha) was required to get excess sikaflex off...
