Hi all

I fitted the bumper, trim and fogs and finished the car on friday. But I have not wired up the fog/driving lights as i need a relay and switch.

auto Italia was great and it was nice to take the car just after finishing it elf haha

I also got to take it up the test hill infront of a crowd of people! which was fun  :driving

heres some pics of the finished car

The test hill is very steep - i just aboiut reached 30 mph ! :o
The drive home felt a lot easier!

there was a guy on the PA system while i was running up the hill who was like "erm yeah - like mr henry ford, they come in any colour these"
He was a bt crap and didnt really know or say anything interesting about any of the cars or even what they where except - "give that 500 classic a cheer to help him up the hill" - or "that was fast"....

video on its way

gotta check the shims still, lap the valves and possibly do a bit of port matching if it needs it.

haha you guys have told me about the stars before - i remember now elf haha

The fogs/driving lamps are wired up with a ring kit i got from Halfords, with a relay and all the bits. You can choose to have them switched on independantly (fogs) or to come on with main beam (driving lights)

You could DIY with a relay from the scrappy but by the time you have bought some nice quality wire...

I went for the driving lights so they come on when you flash people. and you can get hassle from the police for driving wqith front fogs on all the time. The relay is activated with a wire spliced with a blue connecter thing onto the main beam wire which is green on the cento headlights.

I was thinking of putting in an extra switch, but that will require a bit more head scratching... I had bought a cento headlight switch for the car for this purpose as mine has the sei stalks.

Look practically identical apart from the switch which i didnt use. and the splice connector - funny blue things you can buy in halfrauds for hugely overinflated price.
