Well now its just a normal cinq with some side skirts!  :piss

I made off with full front and rear bumpers/skirts, including driving lamps in amazing condition for £34 before vat.  I also got the towing eye fixtures which are different.

but wait it gets better!

The car had a momo steering wheel boss (someone had already had the wheel) which i got for FREE! woo aswell as some other little bits.

The car seemed in very nice condition and still has a very good nick DRIVERS SEAT, which they sell for £18. 50 - so if anyone is in need or wants to sell it on - its there probs for another week.

The car also had a wierd VIN Plate which said made in italy?!?  I rekon its a replacement after some accident damage - but the car seemed to good to have had a new front panel? any ideas - i brought the vin plate home too so I could put a pick up

Bargain Purf. not very often you can get a decent cinq at a scrappy. look forward to seeing the car once you have the skirts etc on. . as for front damage they can do wonders these days that you can't tell it was ever in an accident etc.

Hey

heres the wierd vin plate.  I think body shop rather than fiat prototype :p

I would have bought the whole car but it was squashed by a punto :( - Not sure if they are allowed to sell if it was a scrappage car.  although i have heard of some classics which have been saved.

Should i get the skirts too - They were dead hard so i gave up (incorrect tools) Any suggestions as to how to remove them easily - and will they be distorted at all? They seemed to have some blind fixings on - as well as the original glue stuff - like the badge glue - with foamy effect.

Iv got a spoiler at home already but the one on this car was busted.

Looking forward to a nice 2nd hand momo wheel now elf haha

it is good to be a cinq hoarder you never know when you will need a part. even i had a spare gear box, clutch and loads of engine bits and a spare 1.1 engine at one point. from shims to starter motors etc etc. so hoard away purf.

PHEW

Got the side skirts, almost got squashed by a punto elf haha but it was worth it. The car was stood on old steel wheels. One was resting on the skirt. So it had to be jacked up with the stock jack with a punto on the roof elf haha hahaha

anyway, someone half inched the abarth stickers - but these can be sourced im sure

Now - which car to put all this on???

The high mielage italian flag sporting
or the 60k mile mint broom yellow sporting?

Hey stu

thats what i was thinking the yellow cinq. Its my wifes car currently - but i'l be taking it over when we get a bigger car (punto) and the flag will be kept in the garage... also I think it might be a bit overkill on the italian flag car elf haha haha

I think i will take my time and get the kit painted properly in 2K paint so it doesnt stone chip so easily like my green bumper. and also the laquer is peeling a bit on the yellow cinq.

The flag is getting sorted for mot atmo - just fixed 4 leaks on the exhaust today elf haha i removed the centre silencer about 6 months ago - so its got a few welds... got some new wheels and spacers going on, been polishing the rims... they look ace

Iv also been fitting my own tyres to save some money... very hard removing tyres (ended up destroying them) - but easy to fit them on a clean rim. Im gonna try balancing them myself next, once my balancing kit arrives.
