Thought I'd post a seperate note for this.
Having hoped that Team Mansell could get a finish in their privateer entry in the LMP1, it seems that it all went horribly wrong less than 20 minutes after the start. Mansell (senior) took the start and ended up in the barrier after what looks to have been a puncture induced spin.

Elsewhere, Peugeot took the first 4 places on the grid and set off into the distance. The Peugeot of Bourdais (yes ex F1 from Toro Rosso) retired shortly after Mansells demise with suspension failure.

Shame its not on normal tv, might get some tickets and a tent for next year though as it's a great weekend to go to.
