Hi all got this delivered earlier:

Genuine SP spec including fully adjustable rear shock & close ratio box. Just got to wait till the end of the month to get some insurance then get out on it. Wasn't planning on selling the wolf but when I got offered this for 500 quid couldn't say no.

Just seen it on FB mate  :goodjob
Why wait till the end of the month? Can't you just change the details on the Wolf policy? Bet you can't wait to get on it..

Nah they want £232 which is twice as much as their online quote. As with all insurance companies they make it up as they go along. Need to wait until I get paid again.

I will never use Bennetts ever again. I'm still debating whether or not I need fully comp, may just go with fire & theft can get that for £76.

Hi all now that I'm back in regular employment it's left me with the option of keeping my bike  . Plan is a full respray, powder coat the frame & swingarm, new bearings all round, carb O-rings, fork seals (if I can't find the later USDs & yolks), new discs & pads & HEL braided lines, new clutch, new tyres & new C&S. I was wondering where to start the strip down i.e how would you do it? Obviously the body work has to come off first but would you start with the exhaust & engine?

Easy job mate!!! First take off all the plastic then take loads of pics of the frame, brackets etc.. Remember the last project
Undo all electric connectors. Drain all the fluids.Remove clocks, battery, airbox and carbs. Engine should come out in one lump.
Wheels out followed by the forks, yokes and s/arm.. The whole lot can be done with in about 3 hours..
I done my old GSXR750 in a few hours..
I will try to get up to your place and give you a hand. They I could bring the wheels back with me :ding Unless you can get the powder coated near by...

Just won this lol! Absolute bargain. -> http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230535532682&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_774wt_1141 The mounting points look very similar to my 400 does anyone reckon I'll have a great deal of difficulty installing it?

Not sure how you will stand regarding the electrics mate  . Coil pack/CDI unit etc.. I'm sure someone on a gixxer forum will be able to give good advise..
Once done tho it could be a bit of a beast
