Hi Purf,

My cover was as bad as yours, but like i said just using normal polish and a sanding block using wet & dry got it looking like this below, its no way perfect but coming from what yours once looked like its come along way,

Keep it up...... your near there,

Cheers Scuderia

Hi all

Well my new cinq did not last very long as I wrote it off on Saterday morning ! Doh
Some oil on a nasty wet bend sent it oversteering which lead to the car hitting a small tree in a ditch.

I was alone and unhurt but had 2 police cars, medic, ambulance and even a fire engine in attendance!

So thats 2 cinqs wrecked in three months! anyone better that!

Its got very heavy front end bodywork damage and some large dents to the rear quarter as the rear hit another tree or something...

I can say after 4 years of cinq driving that they do oversteer in the wet! be carefull out there peeps! I also had some lovely cheap sonar tyres on the front which are probs also to blame slightly.

Almost worse than the accident the car got carted off to be repaired!!! even though i told them i didnt want it repaired... all sorted now and i should hopefully get the remains back!

who knows - space frame front end with clam shell bonnet and wings ... elf haha  :hit

and i didnt even get a photo of the wreck

farewell yellow cinq

Hi all

Some good news - I will hopefully be getting a 'new' rolling shell from an ace bloke on FiatForum for a rebuild - so I'll have a cinq again! It will be a bit of work - but not much compared to most car restorations. I will start a new thread when the time comes. Just have to collect the shell from 70 miles away with a trailer elf haha

il call it the Superleggera!
