Well I had a brilliant & eventful weekend last weekend. Big thanks to Steve for letting me use his shot blaster & his electrostatic gun (that's Steve at Turners powder coating services 01380 828561 or 0784 0628300 lol!). Although he did the wheels as I'm a little rusty lol.

The wheels & bar ends we did in gloss black everything else is satin I'm very pleased with the results everything looks like new. Just got to find a swingarm/engine mount & exhaust for the 250 engine & a brakeline for the second front caliper. thumb.gif

It's been a fairly pleasant day today so instead of watching the wedding I thought I'd make a start on repairing the bodywork.

As you can see there was a rather large hole on the right hand side panel. So I sanded the affected area outside & inside so that the fibreglass would stick.

Cut a piece of mesh out & wet laid the matting over it.

Then once that was cured I sanded the outside down again & put some stopper to fill in any pin holes.

Rubbed that down & flatted the rest of the panel.

Applied some primer (it's only aerosol but it'll show up any defects will coat in proper 2k high build stufff later).

Flatted that down. Hole what hole? Cheesy

On another note I measured the mounting points on both engines today as well there's no difference (I didn't think there would be) so I literally just need the right exhaust then I can fit the 250 engine.

Don't worry it's not going to be pink with blue spots or anything. I have a couple of ideas just need to find someone who's good with photoshop.
