Well as you may know our son (Khris) passed his car test last week. The deal last X-Mas was lessons, a car (when passed) and insurance!!
So I found this little 899 Sei 1999 with only 64500 miles on the clock. MOT till April next year and a little tax. Ok its no rocket ship but its a tidy little car and he seems very happy with it.
Popped up today to give it a little wash 'n' wax and added the cento sticker..
Well here it is;

Too many hands spoil the!!!!!!!!

It does need a new set of wheels so I may be on the look out for a cheap set!!

Well what are Dad's for
To offer a 'Drive-Thru' wheel refurb service
So the Little Green Pea arrived at 9am. With a new tyre in hand..
Jacked her up and removed the old steel wheels.
In the stripper they go;

Whilst the wheels were off it was the ideal chance to blast off all that road grime in the wheel arch..

Also took a pic from underneath!! Ok a little rust but not tooooooo bad.

So here's the wheel

And now fitted to the car, time is 2pm and he's off down the road in his white wheeled machine

Well Dad was called in again to maintain the FIAT... So far the cv boot has been replaced, followed by the gear lever and a drivers door.
Yesterday I had a phone call;; DAD m clutch cable has just snapped........
So off I went to pick up Khris, Billi and the new born.
Picked up a new cable today and shut shop just before mid-day.
Got the old one off and new on in and the car running all in just over an hour.. Got the hand of these Sei clutch cables now.. Done Halfpints last year and now badboy-racer.. Next please
Mind you Khris has an MOT booked for this Friday so I'm sure I will be working on the Sei at the weekend

well his car is becoming quite multi-coloured now. Last nite, some ****s, smashed his rear window, so had Steve had to get a boot lid from the scrappy. £45.00. Police said, as there were no independant witnesses, they couldn't charge or do anything to them even though they know who it was. In by gone days, they wudda been grabbed by the ear hole and taken down to the cop chop and made to reimburse any costs. These days they can't do squat. It pisses us off to the max. NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!
At least he can drive it and get to A and B. Having lil un's he needs it.
