On Mk1 punto sporting 1997 R reg how do you take out the spot lamp in the bumper to changed the bulb, I saw a screw at the top of the lamp undone it thinking the lamp would fall forwards but it dont so whats the secret how to do it please  some say just undo the bulbholder on the back ofthe lamp but i cant get to the bulbholder co the bumper is in the way   its doing my head in   a simple job like this cheers

I'm afraid you may have to remove the bumper mate they're probably screwed on from behind. The screw on the front will most likely be the adjuster screw. You shouldn't need to remove the fog lamp itself in order to change the bulb, can you get underneath the car at all? I would see if you can access it underneath, you may have to partially remove the splash shield in the wing.

Cheers I found the inner plastic wheel arch there was a section that you can take to acces the back of the lamp I hope I dont have to do that too often what a B'stard  it was

At least you have access to your air filter on the Punto.. Un-like my Stilo!!!

Thats cos Fiat want to charge 100 quid an hour labour Steve so you dont do it and Fiats are surppose to be cheap to run and service  mined you say I can get to my air filter but it looks like a plumbers nightmare with all the crap pipes and ducting on it

It's easy! Got to be one of the easiest jobs on the car to do, you do need to jack the car up but you only need to remove the undertray. Glad you sorted out your foglamps Martin it sounds as if it wasn't too difficult in the end?
